Our first really big group ride was The Ride for the Roses in Austin, TX.

The ride is a charity ride benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It gave us the opportunity to
introduce charity events to the girls. They were required to help with fund-raising, and send thank you
notes to contributors. They did a great job, and we were able to raise a little over $2200 for the
Foundation.
Both sets of grandparents met us to take part in the weekend festivities - a side bonus of that was we
got a lot of pictures from the event.
The day before the ride, there was a kids event (lots of fun for all of us)
